Comprehensive Design Studio

Proposal for needed hotel and conference center on the campus of The University of Texas at Arlington.  250,000gsf facility utilizing the program of The University of Texas Professional Education and Conference Center including: guestrooms, restaurants, pool, ballroom, conference rooms, and connection to campus while tying into the 25 year master plan.

The public spaces create the street edge and the interior courtyard open to the adjacent Green at College Park.  The hotel block bridges over the connection, giving prominence to the campus entrance, views to the guests, and breaking up of the large volume of space required.
